Reinhard Röpke

Reinhard Röpke (* 1930 ; † October 25, 1993 in New Zealand ) was a German entrepreneur .

Life

Reinhard Röpke studied at the Technical University of Stuttgart Engineering and joined here Corps Stauffia on. After graduating as a Dipl.-Ing. he joined Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. in 1957 . In 1965 he became a personally liable partner in the company alongside his father Wilhelm Röpke and Arnold Hueck. Under his leadership, Hella developed into a leading international company in the automotive supplier industry. Reinhard Röpke had a fatal accident in a plane crash in New Zealand, in which his wife Heide, his son Klaus Reinhard and his daughter-in-law Eva also died.

In addition to his entrepreneurial activity, Reinhard Röpke was a member of the supervisory board of Esso AG , IBM Deutschland GmbH , Hagen Batterie AG and Möller Werke GmbH .
