Reinhold Bauer

Reinhold Bauer (born December 13, 1965 in Rheine ) is Professor of the History of Technology at the University of Stuttgart.

Live and act

Reinhold Bauer studied from 1987 to 1993 the history of exact sciences and technology, modern history and automotive engineering at the TU Berlin . There he was also in 1998 with his work “Car construction in the GDR. Lines of Development and Innovation Problems ”. His habilitation thesis “Failed Innovations and Technological Change”, which he submitted to the Helmut Schmidt University , University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg (HSU) in 2005, brought him broader public awareness .
