Reinhold Curicke
Reinhold Curicke (* 1610 in Danzig ; † 1667 ) was a Danzig lawyer and historiographer .
From 1626 Curicke studied at the University of Rostock , later also in Königsberg . His four-volume work The City of Danzig Historical Description was the first monograph on Danzig in 1645 . For later editions he commissioned copperplate engravings for illustration.
Another edition was printed in Dantzig and Amsterdam in 1687 under his son Georg Reinhold Curicke (also Kuricke or Kuericke).
