Reinhold Scheucher
Reinhold Scheucher (born August 16, 1937 in Pichling near Köflach ; † September 28, 2009 in Köflach ) was an Austrian politician and from 1984 to 1991 a member of the Social Democratic Party of Austria ( SPÖ ) to the Austrian National Council .
Career
After completing compulsory and vocational school, he learned the trade of a locksmith from 1951 and passed the journeyman's examination in 1954. After completing a two-year day workshop for mechanical engineering at the Federal College for Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering (BULME) in Graz / Gösting from 1955 to 1957, he became a foreman. Then he became an employee of the Austrian Mining Insurance Company in Graz in 1957 and finally head of the internal audit / public relations organizational unit. His political career began as a member of the municipal council of the municipality of Köflach (1970–1987) and city councilor of the municipality of Köflach (1975–1985), where he was particularly committed to tourism and the leisure industry. He was a member of the city party committee of the SPÖ Köflach (1957), regional chairman of the young Styrian generation from 1970 to 1972, organizational officer of the SPÖ city organization Köflach (1975-1977), member of the city party committee of the SPÖ Köflach, city party chairman-deputy of the SPÖ Köflach 1977 , Member of the regional party executive of the SPÖ Styria 1985, district chairman of the SPÖ district organization Voitsberg 1987. From October 1, 1984 to February 28, 1991 Scheucher was a member of the Austrian National Council.
