Reinhold Vetter

Reinhold Vetter (* 1946 in Hollabrunn ) is a German journalist and publicist .

Life

Reinhold Vetter was initially a surveying engineer. After studying political science and journalism, he worked for WDR radio in Cologne from 1984 to 1988. He has worked as a correspondent since 1988, until 1994 for ARD (radio) in Warsaw, then for the Handelsblatt first in Warsaw (1994–2000), then in Budapest (2000–2003) and since 2004 again in Warsaw. He currently lives as a freelance scientist and author in Berlin and Warsaw. His work focuses on contemporary history as well as politics and economics in East Central Europe. In addition to the books and articles published by Vetter on these topics in specialist journals, he is also responsible for art travel guides about Poland and Silesia.
