Travel intensity

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Under travel intensity (also: travel propensity ) means (according to the research council vacation and travel ) the proportion of the population aged 14 and over who have at least made a holiday trip with a duration of at least five days. From 1954 to the mid-1990s, the holiday travel intensity grew steadily, with a few exceptions. Since then the intensity has stagnated at around 75%.
