Convalescent serum
As a convalescent serum (rare: convalescent serum ) is referred to in medicine, a blood serum , that of individuals who have a contagious disease is obtained survived. The use of convalescent serum in seriously ill patients is also being considered for COVID-19 . To this end, in March / April 2020 several university hospitals in Germany called on those who had suffered from COVID-19 to donate blood. Your blood plasma should then be given to acutely ill patients.
