René Bian
René Bian (born March 10, 1844 in Sentheim ; † 1917 ) was a factory owner, mayor and member of the first chamber of the state parliament of Alsace-Lorraine .
René Bian, who was a Protestant denomination, attended French schools and then worked in industry. He was a factory owner in Sentheim.
Politically, he was active as mayor of Sentheim from 1888 to 1915. 1892–1911 he was a representative of the Thann district in the state committee . He was a member of the district commission for the assessment of property, trade, capital pension, wage and salary tax, a member of the Mulhouse Chamber of Commerce and was a member of many supervisory boards.
In 1911 René Bian was appointed by Kaiser Wilhelm II as a member of the first chamber of the Landtag of the Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine.
