René Häfliger
René Häfliger (born August 30, 1969 ) is a Swiss media producer , consultant and politician ( LDP ).
Life
Häfliger is an independent media producer and consultant. He moderates the stadium TV of FC Basel 1893 and is the speaker of the Basel Tattoo, which takes place every summer in front of around 80,000 spectators in Basel. For Telebasel he produced the FCB TV magazine “Rotblau total”. Before starting his own business in 2001, he worked for the two Basel radio stations Raurach and Basilisk as well as for the TV station Sat.1 (Switzerland) in Zurich. Häfliger is an active carnival fanatic with the Basel Bebbi and a member of the ship's guild .
He has been a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Basel-Stadt since 2017 .
