René Vallery-Radot

René Vallery-Radot (born October 1, 1853 in Paris , † January 24, 1933 there ) was a French writer.

Vallery-Radot received his doctorate in law from the University of Paris in 1876 . He wrote the first biography about Louis Pasteur , his father-in-law, which was published in 1901 under the title La Vie de Pasteur by Hachette and was published in German in 1948 ( Louis Pasteur. His life and work ).

From 1917 to 1933 he was President of the Board of Directors of the Pasteur Institute . He was a member of the Legion of Honor .

With Marie-Louise Pasteur he had a son: Louis Pasteur Vallery-Radot .
