Rena Schwarz (* 20th century in Bielefeld ) is a German actress and cabaret artist .

Life

Rena Schwarz trained as a manageress . After moving to Aschaffenburg, she began her career as an actress, comedian and singer. In Aschaffenburg, she graduated from the “actor's company” drama school.

Initially, she worked on various stages in classical and traditional plays, in the boulevard theater and in interactive theater. In January 1999 she achieved her breakthrough in cabaret with Urban Priol's “Cabaret in the Hofgarten”. First she started the conferences with self-written comedic pieces before the performances. After several appearances, she developed her own solo program, which she was able to present as part of the promotion of young talent. In her programs, the cabaret artist mainly deals with the real satire of everyday life. Meanwhile, her engagements also lead Rena Schwarz abroad.

Awards

In June 2001 she was awarded the 3rd Steyr Kleinkunstpreis in Austria . In 2012 she received the "Emser Pastillchen" cabaret award.
