Renate Liebold

Renate Liebold (* 1962 in Beilngries ) is a German sociologist and university professor.

Life

Renate Liebold studied social education and sociology and then worked in the field of biography research, methods, gender sociology and cultural sociology. She received her doctorate in 2001 with the topic “Partnership and family from the perspective of male managers”. From 2004 to 2006 she was a habilitation fellow at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg . From 2006 she worked in the DFG project on “Economic Elites in Generational Change” (Head: Markus Pohlmann and Gert Schmidt ) and completed her habilitation in 2009. Renate Liebold is professor for sociology at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and teaches in Innsbruck, Dresden a. a. to.
