Replica is an alternative rock band from Sesvete , the largest district of the Croatian capital Zagreb , founded in 2000 , consisting of Ivan Šibenik ( vocals , guitar ), Domagoj Cifrek (guitar), Majkl Jagunić ( bass ) and Branimir Ivančan ( drums ).

history

After the group had already released two demo albums, their first single "Vlak za nigdje" was released in June 2008 on the Croatia Records label . A music video was also released for this song. In the same year, the debut album "Jeftin trik" was released in October, followed by the second single "Beštija". Jeftin trik landed on the 21st place on the Croatian album charts.

In July 2011, the first single for the second studio album was released, which was released in October. This single is called "Sve što je vječno, kratko traje". The second album, which is called "Svi smo pozvani", landed at number 9 in the domestic charts. Shortly afterwards the single of the same name was released for the album.

Replica plays alternative rock in which influences from punk and grunge can be heard.

In Austria there is a band of the same name that plays metalcore and is currently under contract with Noisehead Records .
