Reptile Ridge (English for reptiles back is) a 3 km long around 250 m high ridge on the Adelaide Island in the archipelago of Adelaide- and Biscoe Islands off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It extends from the area around Rothera Point in a north-westerly direction.
The mountain ridge owes its descriptive name to its appearance from the north and south, which is reminiscent of the back of a reptile . The designation was made by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1977.
