Reptile meat
A group of meats from different animals belonging to the group of reptiles is summarized as reptile meat . In Germany it is counted among the exotic types of meat . In addition to crocodile meat, the edible meat of snakes and turtles is of economic importance . Trade and consumption in Switzerland are subject to the restrictions imposed by the protection of species , which means that extraction from nature is prohibited and they are therefore restricted to products from reptile breeding.
