The Republican Papers (subtitle: Organizationally independent organ for maintaining Swiss sentiments among the people and real republican politics in the federal government, in the canton and municipalities ) was a conservative Swiss weekly magazine that existed from 1917.

In 1917 the magazine was initially called Neue Republican Blätter and then Swiss Republikanischer Blätter . From 1918 to 1954 the Republican Papers were written exclusively by Johann Baptist Rusch , who cultivated a combative and humorous style influenced by Christian conservatism and was the sole owner from 1923. The circulation of the Republican papers increased in the 1930s from about 4,000 to 8,000 copies. In the 1920s, Rusch wrote anti-Semitic articles and advocated the «preservation of the national character».
