The Resende Futebol Clube , or RFC for short , is a Brazilian football club from Resende in the state of Rio de Janeiro .
history
Despite a long tradition, it was almost 100 years before the RFC was promoted to the top division of the Rio de Janeiro State Championship in 2007 . For the national championship of Brazil , he qualified for the first time for the 2013 season for the lowest division of the Série D, from which he was immediately eliminated. Thanks to his first win of the State Cup in 2014, he was able to qualify for the Série D a second time for the following season. The club used the second cup win in 2015 to participate in the Copa do Brasil of the 2016 season.
