The Reserva Arqueológica Menhires del Valle de Tafí is a menhir park in El Mollar south of Tafí del Valle in the province of Tucumán in Argentina .

The menhirs have faces, patterns and symbols ( petroglyphs ) and were only carved out of the rock about 2000 years ago. This means that the 100 or so stones placed in the archaeological open-air museum are the youngest menhirs ever. They are considered relics of the inhabitants of the valley during the so-called Tafí culture. Originally they were scattered over the entire valley, but were brought together in a menhir park from 1976 to 1983 by order of the Argentine military dictatorship and thus torn from the original context. The intention to protect the stones from robbery and damage was thwarted by their detachment from their local context, which makes further research difficult. Today they are exposed to the weather to a threatening degree.
