Resurs-P 1 ( Russian Ресурс-П - П «перспективный» , P for perspective) is a Russian earth observation satellite .
On June 25, 2013 at 17:28 UTC, the satellite was launched into space from Baikonur with a Soyuz 2.1b rocket . It is the successor to numerous Resurs earth observation satellites. These satellites are used to explore the earth's resources. The planned lifespan of Resurs-P 1 is five years.
Resurs-P 1 was built by ZSKB-Progress , the manufacturer of the Soyuz rockets.
