Is resynthesis

a) a term from signal analysis :

To a signal consisting of vibrations of different frequencies, e.g. B. to change a noise in any part of these frequencies, the spectrum is determined with the help of the Fourier transformation or FFT , then, if necessary, individual amplitudes are manipulated and the remaining remainder is transformed back. This last part is called resynthesis because the original signal is reassembled from the individual oscillations.

The method is suitable for filtering , but also for equalizers in sound engineering.

b) a term from human energy production :

This means the recovery of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) stored in all body cells from adenosine diphosphate (ADP) and a phosphate residue P.
