Retained organization

Retained organization (also retained management) refers to people or units in a company who, for example after outsourcing , form the controlling interface to the external service providers. On the one hand, it ensures that the outsourcing company does not become too dependent on the external service provider (s). On the other hand, the retained organization takes care of the details of the cooperation with the service providers.
