retrograde
retrograde ('retrograde', 'opposite', 'temporally or spatially behind', from the Latin retro 'backwards, backwards' and gradus 'step'), or in some cases retrogradation has different meanings:
- Astronomy: Objects that move in a rotating system against the main direction of rotation, behave retrograde, see clockwise and retrograde
