Retrospect Spur is an 11 km long ridge in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Maud Mountains , it extends from the base of the Separation Range in a north-northwest direction to the eastern flank of the Hood Glacier .
Participants of the New Zealand Alpine Club Antarctic Expedition (1959-1960) climbed it over the Hood Glacier and named it after the panorama that offered when looking back ( English retrospect ) on the glacier.
