The Separation Range ( English for separation Mountains is) an approximately 50 km long mountain range in the Transantarctic Mountains of Antarctica Ross Dependency . In the division of the Commonwealth Range by the Hood Glacier, it forms the eastern of two summit strands and ends in the north at the Ross Ice Shelf on the Dufek Coast .
It was named by participants in the New Zealand Alpine Club Antarctic Expedition (1959-1960).
