The Rettig bench is a school bench design that was developed and patented in 1893 by the architect, designer and entrepreneur Wilhelm Rettig . The license for the production was given to the company P. Johannes Müller & Co., workshops for school furnishings in Berlin-Charlottenburg , owned by the architect P. Johannes Müller and Wilhelm Rettig, and which was incorporated into the United School Furniture Factory in 1898 . The bank was widely used.
