Park Sun-young
Park Sun-young ( Korean 박선영 ; born March 9, 1985 in Busan ) is a badminton player from South Korea .
Athletic career
Park Sun-young belongs to the new generation of aspiring players from South Korea. At the Badminton World Cup in 2009, she failed in a purely South Korean duel in women's doubles with Ko Hyung-jung to make it into the round of 16. At the Hong Kong Super Series 2009 and the Malaysia Super Series 2010 , she was already in the quarter-finals, but this time with Kim Min-jung at her side. She won the Malaysia Challenge 2008. At the 2010 Asian Cup, however, was already the end of round 1, where she lost with Choi Ha Na to the later bronze medalists Cheng Wen-Hsing and Chien Yu-Chin from Taiwan.
