Reza Enayati

Reza Enayati (born September 23, 1976 in Mashhad ; Persian غلامرضا عنايتى) is an Iranian soccer player . He plays in the Iranian national soccer team and as a striker for Esteghlal Tehran .

His first professional club was Abu Moslem Mashhad in his hometown of Mashhad, where he was under contract until 2003. He played very successfully and was the top scorer in Iran's highest league in the 2001/02 season . After he moved to Esteghlal Tehran, he was initially unable to build on his earlier achievements. But in the seasons 2004/05 and 2005/06 he was again top scorer with 20 and 21 goals respectively; the second time he was also Iranian champion with Esteghlal.

For the national team Enayati played for the first time on May 30, 2002. So far, he has played 15 international matches and scored four goals (as of June 1, 2006). He took part in the 2004 Asian Cup and was in the squad for the 2006 World Cup .
