Recipe (official area)
Recipe is a historical name for local tax authorities that was directed by a receptor or recipe officer . The term was used in the Duchy of Nassau , for example , until 1868.

In a narrower sense, the term recipe was also applied to the official building of the receptor.
The receptor
The receptor (from Latin recipere , to take) was an official who was responsible for the administration of the cameras in the area assigned to him and in particular for the collection of taxes in cash and in kind. In addition, he was usually responsible for the administration of the domains in his office as well as the accounting. He had a similar function as the rent master .
