The Rhea Corner is a rocky and triangular headland in the southwest of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . On the northern flank of the Saturn Glacier , it forms the foothills of a massif that includes the Deimos Ridge , the Pagoda Ridge and the Phobos Ridge . On the north side of the headland, a cliff rises 500 m .
The British Directorate of Overseas Surveys mapped the headland in collaboration with the United States Geological Survey using Landsat images from NASA . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1974 based on the naming of the Saturn glacier after the Saturn moon Rhea .
