Rhenish excavations
Rhenish excavations is the title of a series of specialist books on archaeological topics. The publisher is the LVR office for soil conservation in the Rhineland .
The series covers the work area of the office and the Rheinisches Landesmuseum Bonn . Thematically, archaeological findings and finds from the Paleolithic to modern times are presented.
The first two volumes were published by Böhlau Verlag in 1968 . Volume 3, now published by Rheinland-Verlag, was published in 1968. Since 2002, Volume 47 has been published by the Philipp von Zabern publishing house . The publication dates are irregular, 77 volumes had been published by the end of 2019.
