The ruins of the Rotemberk Castle (also: Hradiště Rotemberk or Tvrziště Rotemberk , also Rotmberk ; German: Rotenberg ) is located in the area of the Habřina municipality in Okres Hradec Králové in the Czech Republic.

The ruins of the hilltop castle are located at 305 m nm above the Hustířanka valley. Neighboring towns are Velichovky in the north, Rožnov and Neznášov ( Nesnaschow ) in the east, Habřina in the south, Lužany in the southwest and Hustířany in the northwest. The Podhrad mill is located to the southwest below the castle ruins.
history
Rotemberg Castle was probably built in the first half of the 13th century in place of the destroyed Vražba Castle. The first known owner was Ješek von Neznášov around 1370 . His descendants lived in the castle until 1457. In 1494 it belonged to the Bavor von Hustířany , whose descendants gave up the castle. In 1542 it was declared abandoned.
