The castle Hrádek u Nechanic (German Bürgles ) in the Czech municipality of the same name Hrádek u Nechanic belongs to the Okres Hradec Králové .

Count Franz Ernst Harrach had the Tudor-style castle built between 1839 and 1857. The work was directed by the Viennese architect Karl Fischer. The plans come from the London architect G.Lamb and are based on the original Crewe Hall in Cheshire , which was built between 1615 and 1636.

The halls and rooms of the castle are lavishly decorated. Numerous objects from castles from Austria and Germany, but also from Venice, England and France were brought there for its interior decoration. The Golden Hall is adorned with a beautiful coffered ceiling and a mighty decorative fireplace. In the knight's hall , sophisticated carvings are worth seeing. The furnishing of the Mühlgrub salon dates from the second half of the 16th century.
