Rhineland-Palatinate Fujian Society

The Rhineland-Palatinate Fujian Society was founded in 2004 in the East Asia Institute of the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences and is a non-profit association with public and private contacts between the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate and the Chinese province of Fujian .

As a center and contact point for joint projects, there is a " Rhineland-Palatinate Academy " at Fuzhou University in the provincial capital of Fuzhou and an extensive library with German-language publications.

Since the winter semester 2005, German lessons have been given by a German teacher at Fuzhou University. Its aim is to lead students to pass the German as a Foreign Language test (TestDaF).

The company's tasks are:

  1. Organization of forums for business, science and technology
  2. Support of Fuzhou University in setting up a German faculty
  3. Modernization of Chinese vocational training based on the German model
  4. Assistance in setting up a joint research center for automotive and environmental technology
