Rhineland occupation
The occupation of the Rhineland can mean the following:
- the occupation of the left bank of the Rhine by French troops as a result of the First Coalition War ( French period )
- the occupation of the left bank of the Rhine by allied troops after the First World War as a result of the Compiègne armistice in 1918 and the Versailles peace treaty in 1919, see Allied occupation of the Rhineland
- the stationing of German troops in the previously demilitarized Rhineland in 1936, see Occupation of the Rhineland (1936)
