Richard Andersch

Richard Andersch (born February 16, 1868 in Berlin , † June 4, 1921 in Königsberg (Prussia) ) was a German trade union official and politician ( SPD ).

Andersch did an apprenticeship in lithography after attending primary school. He joined the SPD and the union. From 1906 to 1913 he was a workers' secretary in Katowice. From October 1913 to 1914 he was editor of the "Free Press" in Katowice. 1907–1909 he was chairman of the trade union cartel in Katowice and from 1909 to 1914 chairman of the agitation commission of Upper Silesia. In 1909 he took part as a delegate at the SPD party rally in Leipzig and in 1919 at the party rally in Weimar. In the Reichstag election in 1907 , he was a candidate for the SPD in the Reichstag constituency, government district Opole 11 , but was not elected.

In November 1918 he was a member of the workers 'and soldiers' council in Königsberg. From 1919 to 1920 he was a workers' secretary in Königsberg (East Prussia), where he was also a city councilor. In 1921 he was an innkeeper in Osterode in East Prussia .

From 1919 to 1921 he was a member of the provincial parliament of the province of East Prussia for the constituency of Königsberg 9 (Königsberg) and was deputy chairman of the provincial parliament. In the second electoral term he was again a member of the Provincial Parliament and deputy chairman of the Provincial Parliament for the constituency of Allenstein (Osterode district) until his death in 1921. After his death, Johann Münnekhoff replaced him. From 1920 to 1921 he was also a member of the provisional Reich Economic Council .
