Richard Ey (politician, 1911)

Richard Ey (born September 23, 1911 in Fellhammer ; † April 27, 1999 ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life

After attending primary school, he learned the trade of butcher . After a short employment in his learned profession, Ey worked in road construction and from 1937 to 1943 as a miner . After serving in the war and being released from the hospital, he worked as a miner again. At times, he was Chairman of the General Works Council of Harpen Mining AG .

In 1929 he became a member of the Socialist Workers' Youth . Ey had been a member of the SPD since 1931. He was represented in various party committees, such as B. from 1945 to 1968 local association chairman of the SPD in Dorstfeld .

From August 13, 1951 to May 27, 1975, Ey was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituencies 114 and 111 Dortmund VI.
