Richard Faltus
Richard Faltus (born January 13, 1977 in České Budějovice ) is a former Czech cyclist .
Athletic career
Richard Faltus began his career in 1998 with the Czech cycling team ZVVZ-DLD , after having been a stagiaire for the ZVVZ-Giant-AIS team the previous year . In 2002 he moved to AC Sparta Praha , where a year later he won one stage at the Ringerike Grand Prix and two at the Ytong Bohemia Tour. From 2006 to 2008 Faltus drove for the German Continental Team Sparkasse . He won a stage there at the Grand Prix Cycliste de Beauce and in 2007 the overall ranking of the Ciclista a Mallorca. In 2009 he ended his international career as a road cyclist with AC Sparta Praha.
Faltus competed in standing races until 2018, including the six-day races in Berlin .
