Richard Francke

Richard Francke (born April 11, 1886 in Saarbrücken , † February 24, 1947 in the Soviet special camp No. 1 Mühlberg ) was a German judge .

Life

The son of a Protestant businessman passed the state examinations in law in 1907 and 1911 with "good". He got a doctorate. In 1913 he was appointed court assessor. He last took part in the First World War as a lieutenant in the reserve. In mid-June 1919 he became district administrator, then district judge in Saarbrücken. At the beginning of August 1928 he came to Munich-Gladbach as district court director and to Saarbrücken in mid-September. In 1929 Francke was appointed senior judge at the Saar Supreme Court in Saarlouis. On June 1, 1933, he came to Düsseldorf as district court director. In May 1938 he came to the Reichsgericht as an assistant judge. The appointment to the Reichsgerichtrat took place in December 1938. He was active in the IV. And II. Criminal Senate.
