Richard Richard
Richard Richard ( 1858 - January 2, 1933 in Coburg ) was a stage actor and singer ( bass ).
Life
Richard began his stage career in Stettin in 1889 and was active both as an actor and a singer. As early as 1890 he joined the association of the Hofbühne in Coburg-Gotha, where until at least 1902 he was a valued member who was honored according to his skills.
He was a very good bass buffo, because singing and acting qualities worked together here and achieved extremely favorable overall performances. They were distinguished by their vocal accuracy, effective gestures and facial expressions. "Van Bett", "Baculus", "Beckmesser", "Bartollo", "Leporello" etc. should be particularly emphasized.
His life after 1902 is unknown.
