Richardis of Schwerin

Richardis von Schwerin (* before 1352, † 1377 ) was the wife of King Albrechts III. Queen of Sweden.

Her parents were Otto Graf von Schwerin and his wife Mechthild von Werle-Goldberg († 1361), daughter of Johann III. from Werle-Goldberg .

It was first mentioned in 1352 in connection with the pledge of the town of Boitzeburg for the dowry upon marriage. After Johannes Messenius she married Albrecht, who later became King Albrecht III. , 1365. Then in 1377 another letter of protection was issued by her. Otherwise it will not appear in the document.
