The Richardson Nunatak is a 1500 m high nunatak in Grahamland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises in the southern part of the Hugi Glacier .
Aerial photos by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. from the years between 1955 and 1957 were used by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey for mapping. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1959 after Edward Cleland Richardson (1871-1954), the "father of British skiing" and a founding member of the Ski Club of Great Britain .
