The Richthalle Fulda is a listed building in the immediate vicinity of the Fulda train station . It used to be part of the railway repair shop and is now a multi-storey car park .

history

The execution hall was built in 1867 and formed the center of the Fulda repair shop. Various work on several rail vehicles could be carried out in it at the same time.

The hall has been used as a multi-storey car park and multi-purpose hall since the 1980s. The new multi-storey car park with 595 spaces was opened in 2005. For around two million euros (more than originally planned), a second level was moved into the building and modern technology was installed. With its proximity to the train station and the Esperanto congress center, the project formed the basis of a parking guidance system in downtown Fulda.
