Alignment post (construction)
In the building industry , the directional pile has the task of providing support structures for anchoring. They are usually the first components to be stressed for this when erecting auxiliary structures ( foundation construction ).
The alignment post is fixed in the ground. The anchorages are either fixed or adjustable, for example with clamps . This applies to the directional post if it is shaped in the form of a telescopic tube . Some piles have a ground socket for the foundation . Furthermore, so-called main or directional piles are used for a longer sheet pile wall so that it has a secure hold.
The alignment post is also used when planting young trees, so-called tall trees (from a trunk height of 1.80 m), in gardening and path construction as well as in viticulture . It has the task of influencing the growth of the trunk in the desired direction.
