ride-free.de or ride-free-mag.com was a "private and non-commercial online magazine on the topics of motorcycles, rockers & bikers".

history

The ride-free.de website was set up in 1999. At the beginning, the website collected translations of news from the international rocker scene and reports from the German press, as well as press releases from various MCs. These articles have not been changed or commented on. Strict neutrality was a key criterion for the website. The website quickly became a communication tool for the rocking scene used by the various clubs. In the course of time you had to submit to copyright law . The complete takeover of the text was no longer possible and so the website got its current form.

content

Ride Free collects news and press releases from and about the rocker scene . These are taken from other media, mostly online magazines of established media, excerpts or commented and made available to the reader with a web link . The site also includes an event calendar with club meetings, rallies and parties. In addition to the commentary texts, the columns “Evo's World” and “Da Fukker” are dedicated to the custom bike scene. The latter presents custom bikes to readers. A pin-up photo can be found under the heading BODD (for BitchOfDaDay) .

reception

Ride Free was considered an established and popular medium in the rocker scene. The site also published statements from PR team 81 that Hells Angels Germany works. In connection with the closure of the Hanover Charter, the portal was mentioned several times as a source. The picture also suspected that it would be the website of this PR team. However, this information is incorrect.
