Rigel is the name of an Argentine sounding rocket . The two-stage Rigel (first stage Canopus , second stage Orion-2 ) was launched a total of 7 times between 1969 and 1973. Rigel has a peak height of 310 km, a launch mass of 300 kg, a payload of 30 kg, a diameter of 0.28 m and a length of 6.30 m.
