Castor (A)
Castor (A) was a two-stage Argentine sounding rocket. The first stage had four solid rocket engines of the type Canopus , the second stage only one. Overall, the rocket was 8 m high and 280 kg. It had a diameter of 69 cm and could carry a payload of up to 75 kg. It was launched between 1969 and 1979 from launch sites in Argentina , Peru and Antarctica .
