Kōshi Rikudō

Kōshi Rikudō ( Japanese 六道 神 士 , Rikudō Kōshi ; born November 16, 1970 in Dazaifu ), also Rikdo Koshi , is a Japanese manga artist . His best known work is Excel Saga .

biography

He studied at the Kyushu Sangyo University and lives in Dazaifu in Fukuoka Prefecture . Rikudō began to draw dōjinshis , amateur comics, at school. Later he was a member of the Dōjinshi circle Genkotsu-dan ( げ ん こ つ 団 ) under the name Genkotsu No. 2 ( げ ん こ つ 2 号 , Genkotsu ni-gō ). Most of his amateur works are erotic in nature.

The common, unusual transcription of his name, Rikdo Koshi , was first used by the American company ADV Films when its anime Excel Saga was released in the United States.
