The Rillenstein von Leherheide is a prehistoric Rillenstein and menhir in Leherheide , a district of Bremerhaven .

location

The stone was originally in the duck bog between Leherheide and Spaden . He was found standing on a stone pavement while mining peat on the bank of a lake. After its discovery, it was implemented several times. First he stood in front of a school in Bad Bederkesa . In 1980 it was moved near where it was found and later to the outskirts of Leherheide, where it is again in front of a school.

description

The stone is flat and has a triangular cross-section. It consists of granite and has a total height of around 1.19 m, of which 0.59 m is currently visible above ground. The width is 0.73 m and the thickness 0.33 m. The stone has a circumferential groove with a width of 4 cm and a depth of 3 cm.
