Rilo Kiley [ 'raıloʊ' kaıli ] is an independent band founded in 1998 by former child stars Jenny Lewis and Blake Sennett in Los Angeles , which has absorbed many influences from country, pop and electronica. Lewis is the front vocalist of the group, which includes guitarist Sennett, bassist Pierre de Reeder and drummer Jason Boesel. Their audience are popular music listeners in adulthood. After the success of their album More Adventurous , they received their first major label contract with Warner Brothers in 2005 . Her greatest success to date is Portions for Foxes , which was used as the soundtrack for Grey's Anatomy and reached number 25 on the Billboard College Airplay Chart in November 2004 .
