Rimantas Ruzas

Rimantas Ruzas (born March 23, 1959 in Kaunas , then Lithuanian SSR , Soviet Union ; † October 7, 2002 ibid) was a Lithuanian politician.

Life

After graduating from secondary school in Kaunas in 1977, he graduated from 1977 to 1982 with a diploma in choreography at the Klaipėda Faculty of Lietuvos valstybinė konservatorija . From 1981 to 1982 he was the art director of an association's culture club in Utena . From 1982 to 1984 he served in the Soviet Army in Afghanistan . From 1984 to 1992 he worked as a laboratory assistant in the laboratory for dendroclimatochronology in the Kaunas Botanical Garden . From 1992 to 1995 he was the director of the TV show "Svetimo skausmo nebūna" by Lietuvos televizija, from 1995 to 1997 employee at UAB “Logika ir azartas”, from 1998 to 2000 at UAB “Gedimex”.

Since 1990 he has been a member of the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .

From 1997 to 2002 he was a member of the Kaunas City Council and from 2000 to 2002 of the Seimas .
